The entire universe is a visual feast for the mind's eye. Everyday I am inspired by something new and more interesting than the day before. By observation I examine the form and shape of how things are made, then I return to my studio with a renewed vigor. I pour over my canvas for hours and days and it seems like minutes and seconds. When my paintbrush flows my life has rhythm and everything has its tides. I enjoy exploring life's little paradoxes through my artwork. People see many things everyday, a tree, a sunset or the Brooklyn Bridge, I just try to remind them how beautiful it is.

Allan Linder is a painter and sculptor born in Sacramento, California the oldest city on the west coast founded in 1849. The young Linder showed a passion and skill for drawing from an early age filling endless sketchbooks with his imagination. Linder and his three siblings were raised by his single mother that drifted through most of the Western states in search of work during his youth. This nomadic lifestyle contributed greatly to the development of his artwork and technique. Linder apprenticed with several notable artists during his travels across America.

Linder garnered numerous awards for his artwork as a teenager, and enjoyed his first group exhibit at the age of fifteen. Nearly 25 years later, Linder is exhibiting in New York City where he resides, and internationally in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Hamburg, Germany; Paris, France, and Barcelona, Spain.
