It has always been my dream to be an actress. Having a profession with limitless potential for discovery and learning humanity, I feel as though I will never have to choose just one position as an artist in a group theatre ensemble. Acting, particularly for the stage, is an all-encompassing field within the entertainment industry. My parents and teachers infused me with the belief that if I can dream it, I can achieve it - that is the mindset I had when choosing a field of education. I researched theatre programs across the country and around the world from my computer in Holmen, Wisconsin. Since before high school, I planned to apply early to NYU where I auditioned and trained at the Stella Adler Studio for three years and Stonestreet Studios for one semester. Training for three and a half years with the best faculty in the entire world, my talent for acting began to emerge through learning and practicing The Adler Technique. Acting for the stage is a skill that is acquired through training and performance. It is my belief and experience that we can only fulfill our highest potential as theatre actors and actresses through the practice of a technique, which not only unleashes our talent, but provides a process for the preparation of material for the stage and camera. My own ability to improve - the success of my journey - continues to be the most inspirational source of passion for me as an artist in the craft of acting. Words cannot express my gratitude for the continual support of my family, friends, and fellow theatre artists throughout my evolution as an actress. I am committed to providing the same unconditional support to theatre artists in New York City and throughout the world.
