Hmm not sure if there's a town called that there, but either way it's great that you got to see the beautiful lake! As for the ruins, if there was a yellow church next to it, it might have been 'La Merced' cause 'Capuchinas' isn't painted. They are both real pretty though. [:
All of them date back to the 1500's cause tha6t's when the town was founded. But because of the circular chamber you described, I'd venture to say it was Capuchinas, and old convent. I live very close by it. As for Panajachel, I don't know it that well, but it is beautiful. I love how the lake looks at sunset with the volcanoes surrounding it. 'Sololá' would be the name of the department/state and Panajachel is one of the towns around it, but there's dozens of them. And that is sooo cool! Did you guys get to listen to the finished recording?
Oh that's totally awesome! Most people don't even know where this country is hahaha! Which monastery though, cause there are dozens? The one that was converted into a hotel? That would be Santo Domingo. [: Did you like the town itself or just its rich history? What about the people?
Thanks for befriending me! How you manage to take still subjects like figures and typography, and then infuse them with pure motion is beyond me. Very cool.
Very unique and interesting work here. I really like the Angel looking piece. Very nice. Also the one with you in it, That's a quite interesting piece.
