Art is not Safe. There should be no limit or boundary to it's investigation, and nothing is taboo.

Biography

I strictly adhere to the philosophy that Art is not safe. I am a current art student going for my BFA, and I am surrounded by "abstract artists" that constantly play it safe, and I hate it.
I am not a fan of abstract art in any regards, but I feel that whatever medium or avenue of expression people use, they need to constantly strive to challenge their audience and themselves. And if you are not using your craft to break new ground and confront people with things they may not always want to dream, see or hear, then you are failing in your responsibility as an Artist.

Art really is my only interest. However, the scope of things that fall into that said category may surprise some. I am also very passionate about spirituality and exploration of that. I think to be an artist, you have to be.
