Color is the Spice of life! I have spent 20 years of my life doing something that I disliked very much. Now it is time to do something I truly love. What better way to add spice to your surroundings than with paint!

I have been a decorative painter for many years. I started out stenciling, but after many books, years of practice, and strong desire, I have become a freehand artist. My work continues to develop and I grow better and better each day. Not too many days go by that I am not painting something!! Pretty much, if it stands still long enough it gets painted!! I paint on my surfaces from walls, glasses, plates, paper and cloth napkins, placemats, tablecloths, dishes, ceramic tile, canvas, wood, metal, candles, t-shirts, and more. I continue to add to my experience as I learn and continue to develop my skill. My favorite medium is acrylics.

My husband and our family. I have two grown children, Nick who is a recent graduate from CCAD and Ashley who is a current student for a branch of The University of South Carolina. I don't get to see her as often as I would like, but do talk to every day. Thank God for cell phones!!!


I am an animal lover and spend much of my free time with them. They add so much to my life.
They of course are with me most of the time I am either on the computer, painting, or making candles and jewelry. I have two dogs and two cats. Of course the cats think it is their job to be in the middle of what I am working on. Why would I think they'd do anything different! They are GREAT for my allergies!!!
