Roberto Arroyo
Roberto Arroyo was born in historical Mexico City during the year 1982. Roberto first showed an interest in the artistic world at around the age of 14. It was at this age that Roberto began to share his artistic vision in the form of Graffiti. Like many youths in Mexico at this time, Roberto used Graffiti as a way to revolt against the corrupt Mexican Government for the mistreatment of the Mexican People.
At the age of 18, Roberto had ventured his way from Mexico to the United States. He soon came to realize that Graffiti was used differently in the US. As a result, Roberto decided to limit his artistic vision to his sketchbooks. During the next couple of years, still using the Graffiti style Roberto decided to go back to spray painting, only this time it was on canvases. This was a way for him to share his artwork with his friends and family.
During the year 2003 Roberto met his lovely wife, it was she who inspired him to take his artwork to the next level. This was a very important turn around in Roberto?s life. Roberto started to use acrylic and oil paints on canvases instead of spray paints. This opened Roberto?s eyes to a whole new world of possibilities for his artwork.
He soon discovered all kinds of different painting styles and ways to express his artwork. It was at this point that the general public started to become more interested in Roberto?s artwork. Roberto has become a very talented artist, whom does not just limit himself to one style or another. By utilizing different styles with his artwork, Roberto?s art has attracted many different types of art collectors.
Painting has become a very important part of Roberto?s life. He uses his artwork as a way to express his thoughts and feeling. Many people can relate to the meanings behind Roberto?s artwork; for he, like most artists, expresses his sole through his art. Roberto?s art is not just something that he does; his art is apart of who he is. Roberto loves to be able to share his artistic outlook on life with others.
