I mostly paint and draw my surroundings, from the landscape to the people to the concepts and ideas that strike me as important. I try to make art of important things in my life. My family, surfing, universality, humor and beauty all interest me.

I was born in Canada but grew up on the Oregon coast. I traveled back to Canada to attend the Visual Arts program at the University of Victoria, in B.C. After graduating with a BFA I moved to the San Diego area in hopes to get involved with the art and surf culture as this is pretty much the epicenter for the combination of the two.

I enjoy all kinds of Art and attending openings and functions. I surf and skateboard everyday (which is easy when you don't have a job). I am also interested in sports and the crowd they draw.
