Storytelling is very important to me, I enjoy working in any medium with with you can tell a decent story. This includes children's literature, comics and anything that lends itself to a magic-realist view of the world.

Tell me, what are we without our stories?

Professional freelance illustrator and college graduate. I currently spend my days working on projects and looking for commissions.

Here's some of my past projects and related jobs:

Studied under Robert Bauer and was an official caricature artist for the Detroit Zoo. What a great place to work!

Sumi-e illustrator for Tamarack Song's book of Zen poetry, "Song of Trusting the Heart."

Author and illustrator of "A Wox in the Wildwood," a children's chapter book. (Currently being submitted to publishers. No takers yet.)

Originating artist for Paul Peterson's daily newspaper strip, "Walking Across America."

Employed artist at Art For a Cause.

Production artist for Fine Lines Graphics.

I'll have more up soon.

Too, too many to count.

I'm always open for all kinds of commissions.

Always, always.

My current personal projects of relevant interest include:

"Josephine and the Fairy Tree," a children's book. (Written and being submitted to publishers. No takers yet.)

"A Wox in the Wildwood," a children's chapter book. (Fully written, fully illustrated, being submitted to publishers. No takers yet.)

"The Junkman and the Sixpence," a children's book. (First draft finished, awaiting editing.)

A young adult novel, tentatively titled "Imaginary." (First draft in production, this one's a real "magnum opus." Thus far I'm at the 60,000 word mark, so it's probably over halfway finished. But, is it any good? That remains to be seen!)

A young adult graphic novel about robots. No, it's NOT what you think! (Script being written, some b/w and color concept art.)

On the back burner: Short stories, comics and graphic novels.

I love that feeling when you go to an art gallery and you just want to run home and paint. Thanks for the comments. I usually work more monochromatic and was trying something different. I have that work on myspace. I really enjoy your work and sounds like your busy.
