Hello all of you lovely artists.  This is a great web site!  I hope to make some new friends and to chat about anything creative.  I love shooting just about anything and am about to embark on the whole new digital realm.  I'm pretty old school, and a little overwhelmed by the technology but I am definitely up for the challenge.  First thing I'm going to do is take a digital photo class and then one on photo shop.  I think I am the last person on earth who doesn't how to fix a photo. : )  Write to me and say hi if you have the time.

i just got a dslr myself and have been playing with it a bit… so much to learn but it's very fun! 

Cool. use them wisely & judiciously. The software is fun as shit to play with. Your Eye is what your Adoring Fans want, so protect them and trust them with your camera. get a decent zoom and macro lens next. After that, maybe a 14 x 19 Epson printer? (I'm salivating here)
