One has to queston a person or persons' social ethics at today's news when we hear of the Bush administration wanting to put together a weapons sale to Saudi Arabia and sell nuclear technology to India, who has been making nuclear (pronounced NOO-kleeur) bombs outside of the nuclar arms proliferation treaty.

By that same microcosmic premise, an ethical way to make money is to go to a high-crime neighborhood way on the other side of town and open liquor stores and gun shops. Do away with grocery stores, while you're at it. And keep them angry so they don't realize they're killing themselves. Stir them up once in a while by making fun of their god. They the gunshop owners and liquor store clerks gone. Meanwhile, back in their manicured neighborhoods across town washing their pleasure crafts, the liquor and gun store owners refuse to negotiate because the neighborhood's dangerous.

"But here, try these bigger guns. That'll be $20,000,000,000 US. Here's your receipt. It was business doing pleasure with you. By the way, your God hates you. "

The "It's Just Business" monologue trumps dialogue when you're selling "Self Defense" as a lifestyle.

My, my, my. Planting and nurturing fear. It flowers nicely and predictably into Isolation. Tony Montagna on the balcony. Smeared with the fat from the bill of sales for the latest in Killing technology.

And that's just the war.

What about selling nuclear technology to India, a country possessing a track record of detonating nukes? We are in the business of selling perpetual death where no one's really responsible for the product. And business is good.
"Sir? Yeah you with the piss-stained pants and matching sidewalk... Here's a magnum of Peach Brandy and a gun. You need a break from being homeless."

Yeah. All this will definitely help the Middle East.

Seems the U.S. is going to supply a lot of nations with a lot weapons, pretty soon.  Funny how we haven't learned from recent history...

As long as $ is to be made from despair, angry white men will figure out ways of perpetuating it. Of course, while we sell them cast-offs from the clearance rack - with their "SO Gulf War I" look - we'll be eagerly waiting for the next surge so we can field test our tax-paid toys.

Let's see, the U.S. has how many bases outside of the U.S.? And China has how many in the U.S.? Korea has how many here? I'm sorry, how many Middle Eastern countries have bases here?

Sounds to me like we're selling protection from ourselves. Sound familiar?

Mister, this is
All a mistake.
Forget about it, he says.
I was protecting you!
Ah, I forgot.

But...i'm not bitter.

The People are sheep and no control.  I fear we are on a screaming train where the tracks end in the future. Our government is nothing short of being a whore. I fear we ahve allowed the beast to grow to where we no longer have control. Revolution?  Hardly, our country wouldn't survive one.  We rely too much on others to feed ourselves. Look what the attack on the Trade Center did to us.  The question is are we Rome and near the end? 50-100  mores years maybe? Some day history will be reading about the United States and they will think to themselves, history does repeat itself.

The people voted and Congess failed to control Bush. The deals were made before the elections and we were sold out a long time ago. And people say our votes count????

Myself, I am not going to stress about it. You get one shot on this Earth and I a, going to enjoy it.
