I do, as a matter of fact, get over to Santa Fe once in a while. Moreso in Taos, where I teach, play and visit my freaky friends. I'll be there (Taos) in late september for my b'day and a week-long class in Finding Divinity in Nature.
I have some friends in SF - they are very cool and buy lots of art...their daughter is a gallery director in South Beach. He is an anthropology prof here in Dallas, she's a bankrupcy lawyer. Their SF vaca home is very nice. They're hardly ever there. My wife & I haven't been there. Yet...
My other friend there works for American Spirit cigarettes.
