Biography

|
Grew up on a farm in Iowa, tried to get my mom to move to Manhattan when I was 11, that didn't happen so I graduated high school when I was 17, got a partial scolarship to ISU where I studied landscape architecture and fine art for 5 years and then moved to Mpls. and soon began working as a muralist and faux finisher.

All of my art work is hand drawn and hand painted with natural bristle brushes. Carefully gradated blending is everything to me, it is at the core of my motivational being. I have freelanced decorative painting, murals, faux finishing, fine art, and other design fields for the last twenty years.

Other Interests

|
Perrenial gardening, meditation, sci-fi movies and the like, a little reading, all forms of music(can't paint without it) astronomy, theater, thunder storms, film making, performed for five years at the Minnesota Renaissance festival as Jo-el the gypsy dancing four shows a day at gypsy stage in Sherwood forest, basically a little of everything.
