The layers of this experience called life feed my obsession with looking at things.Light is my biggest fascination. My artwork attempts to explore the fleeting thoughts and impressions, the sensual experience of vision, the light hidden in,between, and behind the surfaces of our fleeting moments of reality. My work is about about levels of unity between the artist/viewer and the subject. Another layer of love.

Currently full time middle school teacher, doing bits of visual art in between the art of teaching.
Sometimes it seems like living in two worlds.

Current interest: The method of loci..brought about by a recent fiction I read. Travel, the way the world looks, how to relate to lateral thinkers, how people think, feel,see. Poetry, Figuring out similarities and differences of fields of life, trying to find connections in the various levels of consciousness, how the universe manifests...you know all the usual thing, as well as in great recipes, everyday life, and time off of work! Process and Product are equally fascinating.
