Papal Idiot walks on water-Benedict XVI

Christian evangelist agenda

My work centers around gay rights issues. More about my work can be seen in my blog " Manifesto" I believe it worth reading because one gets a good idea about how serious I am about Gay rights. I can not do much physically but I hope somehow my art makes the bigots think and maybe get the point " we are here, we are Queer, get used to it"

I grew up in foster homes in St.-Louis missouri. At seventeen my mother signed me into the navy and I was kick out after six months later because I am gay. At nineteen (1950) I rejoined the navy and was honorably discharged in 1954. In 1956 I met a young man who became my lover. We lived together until his death in 1997. Then I began taking life drawing classes at a local community collage.

My web site: www.richardjhodges.com some of my work has been seen at the Broadway Gallery 473 Broadway, New York, New York

classical music, Jazz, my lover, my dogs and travel in italy.

On September 16th, 2008. My male partner and I were married in Los Angeles, California

Because prop8 passed, our marriage status is unclear.

We can't let the bigots win this one!!!!!!

Ah, the "connection" was not the intent. My look was an expression of "Who just caught me?".
Overall, the shoot with this model was on the spot/ last minute. We might be working together again in the future.

Thank you so much for the kind words about my work. Your work has a genuine tenderness and emotional depth which is usually not associated with contemporary art...keep up the FANTASTIC work!

Thats is my very point friend other than the brutal challenge of it as a medium.
Peace fellow Sagi.

can you tell us more about the dates you joined the navy and were booted out and rejoined again. Interesting story. Our govt is a very shallow operator-as well as shadowy.
Your work is very colorful as your life also seems to be.
Rob
