Carmen

Currier&Ives couture

I hope to one day build studiospaces and offer them for lease to create an artists community near my city.I enjoy painting figure skaters. I think figure skating is a 3dimensional art of form, fluid of motion, music and, costumery. I believe it to be high opera for the masses.

I was born and raised in North Carolina. I have traveled mostly in the Carribean.I studied two years of commercial art at Chowan College.

I have worked in various roles in the printing industry including silk screening. I am currently a freelance artist. I focus on murals but often will take on a logo design project or small sketch etc. if they peak my interest. I use mostly acrylic paint and can paint most any surface. I work a "day" job so I can be selective in the art projects I choose. I find this helps me to pick the art projects that will be fun and most suited to me. I have done some event design for charity balls.

Figure skating, SCUBA diving, parapsychology, and Tai Chi.

I think that would go for most people, then again they don't paint on their shoes. I once spilt glaze all over a girl's shoes once, but she wasn't too happy about it

I can see why you wouldn't want to throw them out...I would put them in a shadow box and pray that there's enough foot/shoe powder in the shoe to prevent any stench from creeping out of the box. Then again placing them next to an air freshner might help.

Thanks, I am still a big kid at heart, and love the seasons, Christmas is still special for me.
